Job Summary:
Our expanding logistics operation in San Francisco, California, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk. This crucial role supports the integrity of our warehouse operations by ensuring accurate inventory records, conducting audits, and assisting with stock management. You will be responsible for tracking the movement of goods, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining up-to-date inventory data. The ideal candidate possesses strong administrative skills, a methodical approach to tasks, and a solid understanding of warehouse procedures. We prioritize a safe and secure work environment, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected. This position may involve some lifting of items up to 30 pounds and requires you to be comfortable working with data entry and potentially navigating the warehouse floor. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS and other systems.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory data.
  • Assist in receiving and put-away processes by verifying counts and locations.
  • Track the movement of goods within the warehouse.
  • Prepare inventory reports for management.
  • Identify and report any damaged or missing items.
  • Ensure proper labeling and organization of inventory.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and utilize appropriate PPE.
  • Support logistics and warehouse management in maintaining stock accuracy.
  • Contribute to process improvements in inventory control.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as an Inventory Clerk, Data Entry Clerk, or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
  • Good communication skills.
