Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate RF scanners to track inventory and manage order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform lifting of items and packages, following safe lifting techniques.
- Meet or exceed established picking and packing productivity targets.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Contribute to the overall smooth functioning of the logistics department.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Experience with RF scanners is beneficial.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet operational demands in our logistics facility.
