Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers, verifying shipment contents against orders.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Receive, identify, and store inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders with precision and care.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform lifting of packages and materials as required, following safe lifting techniques.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics and supply chain operations.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is advantageous.
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial trucks.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive logistics environment.
