We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This position is key to ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods within our distribution center. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a range of activities, from receiving and stocking inventory to picking and packing orders for shipment. Your commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and safety will directly contribute to our logistics success and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities against order details.
- Stock inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations, maintaining organization and order.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision, ensuring all items are correct and well-packaged.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all facility standards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures diligently, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Report any safety concerns, damages, or discrepancies to supervisory staff immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and support overall logistics operations.
- Perform tasks that involve frequent lifting and movement of goods, following proper lifting techniques.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred. Candidates must possess the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds. A strong understanding of warehouse safety principles and a commitment to following all safety regulations are essential. Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting are required. Teamwork and good communication skills are highly valued.
