Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming merchandise, checking for damage and discrepancies.
- Accurately sort and stock inventory in designated locations throughout the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks to move materials safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times to ensure personal safety and adherence to standards.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and report any potential hazards or incidents promptly.
- Provide support to other warehouse operations as needed, demonstrating teamwork and flexibility within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial. The ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including consistent lifting of up to 40 pounds, is necessary. A strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all protocols is essential. Candidates should be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and attention to detail are important for success in this role. Understanding basic logistics principles is a plus. We are building a solid logistics foundation in Austin and are looking for dedicated individuals to grow with us.
