Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods for damage and accuracy.
- Sort and place materials into designated storage areas.
- Pick and stage orders for shipment, ensuring correct items and quantities.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other basic material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as directed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Perform tasks involving manual lifting and movement of materials on a regular basis.
- Follow all established guidelines for safe lifting and material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and wearing required PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Capacity to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to the team.
