Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities and quality.
- Stock received items into designated warehouse locations accurately.
- Pick items for orders based on pick lists or system instructions.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks with care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Follow all guidelines for safe lifting and material handling.
- Support the overall logistics flow by assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with basic material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and sometimes fast-paced environment.
