Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners, pick lists, or other designated methods.
- Retrieve products from warehouse shelves and storage locations.
- Verify product identity and quantity against order details.
- Package orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Stage picked orders for consolidation and shipping.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as directed by supervisors to support overall logistics flow.
- Practice safe lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Proficiency with RF scanning devices is a plus.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Capacity for lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and work ethic.
