Join our growing logistics operations as a Warehouse Associate in Portland, Oregon. We are looking for motivated individuals to support our warehouse functions, ensuring the smooth flow of goods. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy, efficient receiving, and timely dispatch of products. You will work collaboratively with a team to manage warehouse stock, contribute to operational efficiency, and uphold our high standards for Safety and quality. The successful candidate will be reliable, proactive, and committed to contributing positively to our warehouse environment. Experience in material handling and a keen eye for detail are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Store materials and products in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring adherence to Safety protocols.
- Inspect equipment for defects and report any issues promptly.
- Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (certification preferred).
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following established procedures.
