We are seeking organized and efficient Picker/Packers to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is crucial for fulfilling customer orders accurately and preparing them for shipment. You will be responsible for locating specific items within our warehouse, ensuring they match order details, and then carefully packing them for transit. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order lists or RF scanners.
- Pack items securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage.
- Verify that picked items match order specifications.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and wear provided PPE.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking and packing speed and accuracy.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Support the overall logistics process of the warehouse.
- Safely perform lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Previous experience in a picking or packing role is advantageous. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Capacity for lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Must be able to wear required PPE. Understanding of basic warehouse logistics. Dependable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety and productivity.
