Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist in the training of staff on proper equipment operation and care.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and operational efficiency.
- Safely perform lifting tasks as required for equipment handling.
Experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Must be able to wear required PPE. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of logistics and warehouse operations. Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy parts.
