Sales Advisor 6735 Location: Heysham (In-person) Hours: Monday – Friday (No weekends) Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 (Plus UNCAPPED Commission!) Job Description An established and growing business within the industrial sector is seeking a Sales Advisor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a varied sales role combining new business development and account management, ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term customer relationships while actively developing new opportunities. You will work in a fast-paced environment where responsiveness, organisation, and a consultative sales approach are key. Key Responsibilities * Provide a high standard of customer service throughout the sales process * Proactively contact existing customers and new prospects * Use a consultative, fact-finding approach to recommend suitable products * Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to order and delivery * Maintain and update the CRM system accurately * Effectively manage and develop your sales pipeline * Handle incoming customer enquiries and resolve issues efficiently * Build strong working relationships internally and externally * Develop product knowledge to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities * Identify potential markets and new business opportunities Key Skills * Previous sales experience is advantageous but not essential * Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with customers by phone and in person * Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills * Self-motivated, organised, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment * Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM systems * Full UK driving licence and own transport * Willingness to travel occasionally and attend trade events * Able to commute to Heysham, Lancashire Benefits * Uncapped commission structure * Performance-related bonus (health & safety / attendance) * 23 days holiday plus bank holidays * Pension scheme * Life insurance and workplace pension * Access to an EV salary sacrifice scheme * Free on-site parking * Supportive team environment with opportunities for development For more information please contact Tom at First Base Employment.
