Front house staff member

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team in delivering exceptional customer service in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for the food industry and a commitment to providing an outstanding dining experience. This role involves interacting with customers, managing food service operations, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
• Prepare food items as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling practices.
• Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any guest concerns.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Experience with food preparation, serving, or cashiering is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.24-$20.00 per hour
