Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team! We are a small, female-run company looking to offer stellar services to students while providing a wonderful place of employment or contract for SLPs! The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. This position is responsible for one school building (elementary school) and the students that require SLP screens, evaluations, or services to improve communication skills.
Duties:
- Conduct standardized testing to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
- Develop IEPs tailored to each student's needs
- Create a schedule to accommodate all students' IEP minutes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to best serve students
- Utilize your knowledge of physiology to address concerns related to the field of Speech-Language Pathology
Skills:
- Proficiency in conducting standardized testing
- Experience collaborating with other professionals
- Strong understanding of physiology related to speech and language disorders
- Previous experience working in schools is preferred
- Ability to provide effective speech therapy services
- Strong decision-making skills about varying therapeutic approaches
