We are seeking a reliable and experienced On-Site Maintenance Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in maintaining safe, clean, and well-functioning residential communities. The Maintenance Technician will support daily property operations by completing general maintenance repairs, unit turns, and preventative upkeep to ensure a high-quality living environment for residents.

This position requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to excellent customer service. On-site housing is provided, making this a unique opportunity for someone looking to live and work within the community they support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance repairs in apartment units and common areas.
  • Complete unit turn work, including painting units for move-ins.
  • Conduct routine property inspections and address maintenance needs proactively.
  • Troubleshoot and repair common residential maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, fixtures, appliances, doors, locks, etc.).
  • Perform light welding and equipment repairs as needed.
  • Assist with grounds upkeep and common area maintenance as required.
  • Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to support daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work, inspections, and repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, providing updates and explanations regarding maintenance work.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in residential or multi-family property maintenance.
  • Strong general maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with unit turn preparation and painting required.
  • Welding experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a company vehicle if required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
