Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Front Desk Receptionist, located in Santa Monica, CA. The Front Desk Receptionist will report to Black Bear's Office Manager, and handle daily tasks such as answering and transferring calls, managing front door access for arrival guests, greeting guests and welcoming them to the space, managing the overall reception area, overseeing certain scheduling matters, communicating guest arrival to executives or assistants within the office, and providing general administrative support. As the first person guests meet at Black Bear, this executive must have a pleasant demeanor, and a positive, can-do and service-oriented mindset.

Given the various talent that visits Black Bear's office, complete discretion is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and phone etiquette
• Past experience with receptionist duties in fields that require complete discretion (entertainment, fashion, luxury product)
• Familiarity with VOIP phone systems
• Comfort overseeing who overseeing access to Black Bear's office
• Experience with guest check-in technologies, including iPad sign-in.
• Experience managing guest interactions
• Ability to multitask effectively and maintain a professional demeanor
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Grace under pressure
• A mindset that no task is too small
• Resume required, w/ headshot or photograph optional

Salary

Commensurate with experience, ranging from $18 - $23 per hour.
