We are seeking a friendly and professional Host / Hostess to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role is essential in setting the tone for our establishment and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors. Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant settings is preferred / required, along with excellent communication and guest relations skills.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Handle reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems such as OpenTable.
• Manage guest inquiries via phone and in person with professional phone etiquette
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth seating flow
• Assist with guest inquiries about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously

Requirements

• Previous host/host experience or food service background preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills and friendly demeanor
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as OpenTable is a plus
• Experience in hospitality, hotel services, or guest relations is advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and good phone etiquette
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: $ $22.18 per hour
