Service Plumbing

About the Role

We are a growing mechanical services company seeking an experienced Service Plumbing & Heating Mechanic to join our team. This role is focused on diagnosing, servicing, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across commercial and residential properties.

We are currently hiring one technician, with the potential to add more as we continue to grow.

This is a hands-on service position for someone who is knowledgeable, reliable, and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities

Service, diagnose, and repair:

• Steam and hydronic boiler systems
• Domestic water heaters
• Plumbing sanitary, vent, water, gas, and sprinkler systems

Work with related equipment including:

• Pumps
• Pressure-reducing valves (PRVs)
• Mixing valves and associated controls

Additional responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting on both mechanical/plumbing and electrical components of systems
• Safely operate a company-provided van and travel between job sites
• Use proper tools and equipment efficiently and correctly
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding job status and repairs

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company van
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Minimum 3 years of commercial and residential service experience
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Steam and hydronic heating systems
• Domestic hot water systems
• Plumbing, gas, venting, and sprinkler systems
• Ability to read and understand mechanical systems and troubleshoot effectively
• New construction experience is a plus, but not required
• Solid understanding of tools: what to use, when to use them, and how to use them properly
