About the Role

From customer concept to commissioning, you will orchestrate complex, global projects that bring PLC-driven machinery and mechanical systems to life. You'll translate customer needs into system requirements, build credible plans, and guide cross-functional teams through design, build, buy-off, and acceptance—owning quality, cost, and delivery every step of the way.

A Day in the Life
  • Meet with customers and our sales team to clarify technical scope, delivery expectations, and schedule constraints—then convert those into actionable system requirements.
  • Identify missing inputs needed for machine design and assembly; drive closure on open items across engineering, supply chain, and operations.
  • Develop, maintain, and baseline detailed project schedules in Microsoft Project; proactively manage changes and risks across the full order-to-commission lifecycle.
  • Review quotations, specifications, and contracts to verify technical feasibility and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Lead engineering and manufacturing project/equipment engineers, coordinating priorities, resources, and scope across multiple concurrent programs.
  • Support manufacturing through equipment buy-off; participate in acceptance testing when needed.
  • Continuously communicate project status, resource utilization, and key metrics to stakeholders and leadership at all levels.
  • Interface daily with manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and planning to remove roadblocks and protect timelines.
  • Evaluate and improve project and program management practices leveraging lean methods and risk management.
  • Own the outcome—ensure scope is delivered within quality, cost, and delivery targets while working under cross-functional guidance from engineers, management, and senior leadership.
