Sheet Metal Fabricator

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator with strong aluminum welding skills to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on fabrication experience, the ability to operate automated brake machines, and the skill to read and interpret measurements with precision.

Minimum Requirements — No Exceptions

• Minimum 3 years of sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Proficiency in aluminum welding (TIG and/or MIG).
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Experience operating automated brake machines.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Must have reliable transportation and strong work ethic.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, cut, form, and assemble sheet metal components according to specifications.
• Weld aluminum using TIG and/or MIG techniques with high-quality workmanship.
• Operate automated brake machines, shears, saws, presses, and fabrication tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Accurately read and use a tape measure to 1/16" (or company standard).
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and proper fit.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

• Experience reading/working from CAD drawings.
• Prior fabrication experience in signage, HVAC, automotive, or metal manufacturing.
• Forklift experience or certification.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced fabrication shop
• Exposure to metals, machinery, noise, and standard safety equipment
• PPE provided where required

Pay: Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience
