Job Title:
DevSecOps Engineer (Level 5)

Location:
MUST Be LOCATED IN DAYTON/NEAR DAYTON

Clearance Requirement:
Active TS/SCI

Certifications:
Security+ (or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II)

Salary: $100,000-165,000
We are seeking
DevSecOps Engineers
to support 24/7 mission operations for the PIR Platform Sustainment & Development contract at NASIC. These roles are critical to platform sustainment, software factory integration, and real-time mission enablement within a secure SCIF environment. Engineers will support Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) operations with heavy emphasis on containerization, orchestration, and observability in a cloud-native stack.

Required Skills

  • Active TS/SCI clearance (required)
  • 3–10+ years relevant experience in DevOps, PaaS, or cloud-native systems
  • Experience working in secure or classified environments preferred
  • Strong background in modern cloud-computing tools and microservices deployment

  • Kubernetes, Docker, Linux

  • Python, Golang, Java, C++, IDL, MatLab
  • Argo CD, Argo Workflows, Argo Events
  • Prometheus, Grafana, Istio, Keycloak
  • OpenSearch, OpenSearch Dashboards
  • CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, software factory integration
  • Data architectures and algorithm development
  • Agile software development and engineering practices\

  • Provide DevSecOps engineering in a high-security, SCIF-based operations environment.

  • Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot PaaS infrastructure components including Docker and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Integrate, manage, and deploy tools supporting automation pipelines (e.g., Argo CD, Argo Workflows, GitOps).
  • Monitor system health and performance using observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch Dashboards.
  • Support CI/CD activities, container image creation, secure configuration, and orchestration across air-gapped and connected systems.
  • Collaborate in Agile teams to rapidly deploy new features, address bugs, and sustain platform capability.
  • Work with infrastructure, security, and development teams to ensure systems are compliant, secure, and mission-ready.
