Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and residential spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
• Use specialized equipment for floor care such as buffing machines and floor scrubbers to maintain high-quality surfaces
• Conduct janitorial tasks like restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting to uphold hygiene standards
• Assist with custodial responsibilities including stocking supplies and maintaining cleaning inventory
• Support facilities maintenance by addressing minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention
• Engage in industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, ensuring large-scale areas are spotless and safe
• Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on commercial or residential environments
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ability to perform facilities maintenance tasks efficiently and safely
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and operating cleaning machinery for extended periods
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly
