What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise daily blending operations to ensure consistency, safety, and quality in every batch.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of blenders through training, mentorship, and performance management.
- Maintain and enforce strict compliance with food safety standards, GMP, and SQF guidelines.
- Monitor blending processes for accuracy and efficiency, identifying and implementing improvements where needed.
- Order, track, and manage raw materials and supplies needed for blending.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, coordinating with the maintenance team as necessary.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on blending performance for leadership.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Packaging, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Investigate and resolve process deviations or quality issues in real time.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure and promote food safety throughout the facility.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You've Done and Who You Are
- 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience in food manufacturing or a related production environment.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to oversee production processes with strong focus on quality and safety.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with a results-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable managing supply ordering, inventory tracking, and scheduling.
- Skilled in problem solving, conflict resolution, and driving process improvements.
- Flexible to work extended hours or shifts based on production needs.
- Hands-on leader willing to work alongside the Blending team.
- Able to partner and influence at all organizational levels.
- Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Driven, proactive, and committed to getting things done.
- Flexible and quick to learn new processes, technology, and ways of thinking.

Physical Demands
- Constant speaking and communication with the Blending team and cross-functional partners.
- Frequent walking throughout the facility, including warehouse and production areas.
- Frequent bending and squatting, including lifting and handling ingredients.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs (ingredient bags, product cases).
- Must be able to work near food ingredients with potential allergen exposure.
- Work performed in an air-conditioned manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Must safely and successfully perform essential job functions per ADA, FMLA, and other regulations.
- Must maintain regular, punctual attendance per ADA, FMLA, and other standards.
