Night Custodian

Job Summary

Pay Rate: $13 hourly

Hours: 6:00PM - 10:00PM Monday - Friday

Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations and appearance of our premises, whether in commercial, residential, or industrial settings. Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. This position offers full-time employment with paid hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across all areas of the facility
• Conduct specialized cleaning such as floor buffing, carpet cleaning, and window washing
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
• Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance as needed
• Apply knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment to ensure high-quality results
• Support minor maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or repairs in residential or commercial spaces
• Operate cleaning machinery including buffers and floor scrubbers safely and effectively
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment during all custodial activities

Qualifications

• Prior experience in janitorial services, custodial work, or facilities maintenance is highly desirable
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and industrial cleaning methods
• Experience with commercial cleaning, residential painting, or industrial cleaning is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
• Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately

Candidates must have valid ID and SS and pass background check.
