Are you called to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and families facing serious illness? Senior Doc Management is seeking a dedicated Palliative Care Chaplain to offer guidance, comfort, and spiritual care to those in need. What You'll Do:- Provide Compassionate Spiritual Care – Offer direct spiritual and emotional support to patients and families, addressing their individual needs with sensitivity and respect.
- Collaborate with an Interdisciplinary Team – Work closely with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Facilitate Meaningful Services – Lead memorials, religious ceremonies, and bedside prayers tailored to each patient's beliefs and preferences.
- Offer Grief & Bereavement Support – Provide counseling and resources to families before and after the loss of a loved one, ensuring continued emotional and spiritual care.
- Foster Community Partnerships – Engage with local faith communities, chaplains, and volunteers to expand the reach of spiritual support services.
- Spiritual Leadership – Graduate of an accredited seminary or theology school (BD, M.Div., or equivalent) and ordained or licensed minister. Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) training preferred.
- Hospice & Palliative Care Experience – Previous experience in healthcare chaplaincy, hospice, or palliative care is highly desirable.
- Cultural Sensitivity & Interfaith Experience – Ability to work in an inclusive, interfaith setting, respecting all cultural backgrounds, spiritual beliefs, and values.
- Excellent Communication & Counseling Skills – Capacity to provide empathetic listening, crisis intervention, and spiritual guidance to patients and families.
- Team-Oriented Mindset – Ability to collaborate effectively with medical professionals, social workers, and caregivers.
- Must have a valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and active vehicle insurance.
- Competitive Pay – $32-$40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
