We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bartender Manager to lead our bar operations with energy and precision. This pivotal role combines leadership, exceptional customer service, and expert bartending skills to create memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender Manager, you will oversee daily bar activities, manage a talented team of bartenders, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and drive sales in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Duties

  • Lead and supervise the bar team to ensure efficient service, high-quality beverage preparation, and excellent customer interactions.
  • Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cleanliness standards.
  • Train staff on POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to ensure accurate order processing and cash handling.
  • Monitor sales performance, upsell effectively, and implement strategies to maximize revenue during busy nightclub or banquet events.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and food handling protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations at all times.
  • Manage cash handling procedures accurately, including cashiering duties and balancing tills at shift end.
  • Coordinate with catering teams for special events, banquets, or private parties to deliver seamless service experiences.
  • Foster a positive team environment focused on hospitality excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant or food service management with a focus on bar operations; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a high-energy setting.
  • Demonstrated ability in sales techniques, upselling beverages, and increasing revenue streams during service periods.
  • Solid understanding of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
  • Experience managing a team of bartenders or servers within a hospitality environment that includes banquet or catering services.
  • Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling accuracy, and inventory control.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to serve diverse clientele in nightclubs or upscale dining settings.
  • Knowledge of brewing processes or beverage crafting is a plus; certification in food safety is preferred.
