Front Desk Receptionist (Part-Time, Evening)

Position Overview

Janjira Muay Thai is looking for a reliable and organized Front Desk Receptionist to support our evening operations. This role is the first point of contact for members, visitors, and fighters, and plays a key role in keeping the gym running smoothly during peak hours.

This is a part-time, evening position ideal for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced gym environment.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Total: ~23 hours per week
• In-person only

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a professional and welcoming manner
• Check in members and manage class attendance
• Handle new member inquiries, trial sign-ups, and drop-ins
• Answer phones, texts, and basic email inquiries
• Process payments, memberships, and merchandise sales
• Maintain front desk cleanliness and organization
• Support coaches and management with daily admin tasks
• Enforce gym policies (waivers, no-shoe rules, class etiquette, etc.)
• Assist during events, smokers, and special gym functions as needed

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual (attendance is critical)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable handling payments and basic POS systems
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Professional demeanor in a combat sports environment
• Must be able to work evening hours consistently

Preferred but not required:

• Experience in a gym, fitness studio, or martial arts facility
• Familiarity with Muay Thai or combat sports culture
• Experience with scheduling or membership software
