Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Conduct routine floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, and waxing to maintain a polished appearance
• Carry out industrial cleaning tasks in specialized areas such as warehouses or manufacturing zones when needed
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, fixtures, and furniture to uphold a pristine environment
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep as required
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or hazards
• Keep detailed logs of completed tasks and report any facility issues or repairs needed to management promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning and janitorial services
• Strong knowledge of custodial procedures and floor care techniques including buffing and stripping floors
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and extractors safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices including basic repairs and painting
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality control
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks over extended periods
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
