Our client, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company, is seeking an HR Payroll Assistant to join their team. As an HR Payroll Assistant, you will be part of the Human Resources Department, supporting site leadership, corporate HR, and payroll teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range:
$23.00/hour

What's the Job?

  • Support site payroll and benefits processes as a liaison between employees, corporate HR, and third-party administrators
  • Perform HRIS data entry in Workday, including hires, transfers, and terminations
  • Maintain and troubleshoot timekeeping systems (Kronos), including schedules, PTO, and approvals
  • Assist with bi-weekly payroll submissions and maintain payroll documentation per compliance guidelines
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, communication boards, and recognition programs

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, payroll, or administrative support (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday and timekeeping systems like Kronos (preferred)
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and data accuracy skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service mindset
