Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Durham, NC
Full-Time | Clinic-Based Pediatrics | $75,000–$85,000 per year (based on experience)
Autism Center of Excellence is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Durham clinic. This role focuses on providing high-quality speech and language services to children with autism and developmental delays in a collaborative, clinic-based setting.
You'll work closely with BCBAs, RBTs, families, and leadership to support meaningful communication gains and functional outcomes.
Position Details
- Location: Durham, NC
- Setting: On-site, clinic-based pediatric therapy
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
- Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 per year, based on experience and credentials
What You'll Do
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy for children with autism and related developmental needs
- Complete evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Address expressive/receptive language, articulation/phonology, AAC use, social communication, and feeding needs as appropriate
- Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, and caregivers to support carryover and consistent communication strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation (evaluations, progress notes, plans of care, and reports)
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case reviews, and clinic planning
- Ensure services meet ASHA, state licensure, and organizational standards
Qualifications
Required
- Active North Carolina SLP license
- ASHA CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Strong clinical writing, organization, and time-management skills
Preferred
- Pediatric experience
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays
- Comfort collaborating within an ABA/behavioral health team
