Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Hours are Monday-Friday 1pm-10pm, As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all spaces—whether commercial, residential, or industrial—are kept in pristine condition. Your proactive approach to cleaning, maintenance, and floor care will help create an inviting atmosphere for staff, clients, and visitors alike. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Conduct detailed janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Carry out floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain high-quality flooring throughout the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold a professional appearance.
• Assist with industrial cleaning projects and specialized custodial tasks as needed for large-scale or high-traffic environments.
• Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups (including residential painting), and equipment upkeep to ensure operational efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or hazards.
• Monitor supply levels of cleaning materials and notify management when replenishment is required.
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily routines efficiently and ensure the facility remains safe and welcoming at all times.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning standards.
• Skilled in various custodial tasks including floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices including basic repairs and painting.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, pressure washers, and other custodial tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly. Pay: $12.00 per hour
