Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Service Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing and coordinating services for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring they receive comprehensive support tailored to their needs. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by facilitating program development, fostering strong relationships, and supervising service delivery in a dynamic environment. The Service Coordinator will work closely with clients, families, and community partners to promote positive outcomes and enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee individualized service plans for clients with developmental disabilities.
  • Coordinate and monitor service delivery to ensure adherence to program goals and compliance standards.
  • Manage relationships with clients, families, service providers, and community organizations to foster collaboration and effective communication.
  • Provide supervision and support to staff involved in client care, including overseeing program management and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes, service records, and administrative reports.
  • Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Facilitate training sessions or workshops related to behavioral health, social work practices, or program development as needed.
  • Assist in budgeting processes and resource allocation to optimize program efficiency.
  • Stay informed about best practices in behavioral health, social work, and management to continuously improve service quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in management, program development, or program management within social services or related fields.
  • Supervising experience with teams or staff working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.
  • Strong relationship management skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, community partners, and internal teams.
  • Administrative experience including documentation, reporting, and record keeping.
  • Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities and understanding of behavioral health principles.
  • Background in social work or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and interpersonal skills for working with diverse populations. This role is ideal for a compassionate professional committed to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities through effective coordination of services and programs that promote independence and well-being.

Pay: $ $28.61 per hour
