The xoxo bar is a brand new and exciting restaurant opening in Early Spring 2024. xoxo is a new innovative concept which will be offering top of the line modern American/Japanese cuisine, fun and innovative creative cocktails, wine, beer & sake mixed with a fantastic experience and atmosphere in Chestnut Hill, MA. We are now hiring and training Host/Hostess for opening of this new exiting Restaurant in the coming weeks. We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Host/Hostess. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and creating delightful dining experiences. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests
- Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information to callers
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate as necessary

Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food service and hospitality industry standards
