Mechanical Estimator

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical construction estimating and project management, with the ability to build accurate and competitive bids for various construction projects. This role requires a deep understanding of construction contracts, as well as proficiency in industry-standard software such as Bluebeam. The Estimator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities and Duties

● Interpret specifications, analyze architectural drawings, make material take-offs.

● Provide detailed proposals and accurate bid package (Scope of Work)

● Create Submittals with product data.

● Manage and price change orders and T&M

● Keep pricing up to date yearly.

● Manage and keep JPR (Job Proformance Requirements) up to date.

● Provides footages for Superintendent.

● Attend Project Management job specific meetings. (Schedule, Price)

● Communicate effectively & assist superintendent, project managers and operations and giving them the proper information, they ask for.

● Keeping management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports: summarizing information, Identifying trends.

Qualifications/Skills

● 4 Year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in construction management.

● Strong working knowledge of customary construction contract language and provisions (prime contracts, subcontract agreements, supply agreements, etc.). Managing processes

● Strong software experience with Microsoft, Estimating software. Join our team as an Estimator where your expertise will contribute significantly to our success in delivering high-quality construction projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80, $130,000.00 per year
