Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Houseperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the hotel, ensuring a welcoming and pleasant environment for both staff and guests. This position requires a proactive individual with strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Maintenance:
• Perform regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in common areas.
• Ensure all public spaces, including restrooms, hallways, and lounges, are tidy and well-maintained.
• Guest Services:
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing friendly and efficient service.
• Deliver items to guest rooms as requested, such as extra towels, pillows, or amenities.
• Safety and Security:
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely and securely.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a housekeeping or maintenance role is preferred but not required.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Capacity to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Working Conditions

• Hours: This is a part-time position, requiring to work weekends, holidays and afternoons.
• Environment: Fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
• $23 Hourly
