We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our Tampa, Florida warehouse team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the movement of goods, ensuring efficient operations within our logistics facility. Your responsibility will be to handle materials safely and effectively, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with receiving and verifying incoming goods.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment for safety and functionality.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company protocols.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and audits.
- Support team members to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a material handler or similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices in logistics.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must wear all mandated PPE, including safety boots and vests.
