We are hiring a Picker/Packer in San Antonio, Texas, to join our fast-paced fulfillment center. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and carefully packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational success. You will work with a team to ensure that orders are processed quickly and correctly, utilizing RF scanners and other warehouse technologies. We emphasize a safe working environment, and all employees are expected to follow strict safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order specifications using RF scanners.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Package products securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Select appropriate packing materials and shipping containers.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking and inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
