As an Order Picker, you will be the backbone of our fulfillment process, responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. You will navigate our warehouse efficiently, using scanning technology and pick lists to gather items. This role requires a strong focus on accuracy, speed, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. You will be expected to follow all safety procedures and utilize necessary PPE to ensure your well-being and that of your colleagues. - Accurately pick customer orders using handheld scanners and pick lists.
- Verify product accuracy before staging for packing.
- Maintain organized workstations and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual lifting equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established productivity goals for order picking.
- Support team members to ensure efficient logistics operations.
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical movement and Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory principles.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
