We are looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Sacramento, California. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory management, and staff supervision. Your leadership will be key to ensuring efficiency, productivity, and a safe working environment. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and guidance. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics and Safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
- Ensure efficient workflow and productivity throughout the warehouse.
- Implement and enforce Safety procedures and company policies.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to all Safety guidelines.
- Address any operational issues or employee concerns promptly.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for efficiency in logistics.
- Ensure safe and proper handling of materials, including tasks involving significant Lifting.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, Safety regulations, and logistics best practices.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory control and management.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to promoting a strong Safety culture.
