Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and policies.
- Manage the put-away process to ensure items are stored correctly.
- Monitor stock levels and report potential shortages or overages.
- Track and manage returns, damages, and defective products.
- Work closely with warehouse associates and management to improve inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist in optimizing warehouse layout for efficient inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and techniques.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to perform some lifting (up to 30 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics is beneficial.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
