Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement cycle counting procedures.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers to ensure timely deliveries and shipments.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on operational procedures, safety protocols, and the use of PPE.
- Develop and optimize warehouse layouts and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on warehouse operations.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to warehouse activities.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage staff and delegate tasks effectively.
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices, including PPE usage.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 lbs if necessary.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
