We are seeking a certified and experienced Reach Truck Operator for our busy warehouse located in Columbus, Ohio. This is a key role within our logistics department, responsible for the efficient and safe operation of a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve materials. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating reach trucks in a warehouse environment, ensuring accurate inventory placement and movement. Responsibilities include inspecting the equipment daily, performing routine maintenance checks, and adhering to all safety regulations. This role is critical to maintaining organized storage and facilitating the smooth flow of goods through our logistics chain. You will be required to wear appropriate PPE at all times and demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety. The position involves tasks that require significant physical exertion, including frequent lifting and maneuvering of heavy loads, and requires the ability to work effectively at heights. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and possess excellent hand-eye coordination. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning equipment is highly desirable. Teamwork and effective communication are essential for coordinating with supervisors and other warehouse personnel.
