Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and carefully packing them for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy to minimize errors and maximize productivity within our logistics operations. We are committed to maintaining a safe working environment, and strict adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. This role involves a significant amount of standing, walking, and lifting items that can weigh up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product information and quantities before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Select appropriate packaging materials for different types of orders.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Maintain organized work stations.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Wear and maintain required PPE at all times.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product information.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
