Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner and order lists.
- Locate items within the warehouse and transport them to the packing/shipping area.
- Ensure the correct quantities and types of items are picked for each order.
- Perform quality checks to verify order accuracy before shipment.
- Operate order picking equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory control activities as needed.
- Perform duties involving lifting and moving products, following safe lifting practices.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking targets and maintaining operational efficiency in our logistics hub.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and labels.
- Proficiency in using RF scanning equipment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet operational demands in logistics.
