Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse machinery, including forklifts, conveyor belts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and the warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Operate a variety of warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and PPE usage.
- Collaborate with team members and management to improve operational processes.
- Ensure that all lifting tasks are performed safely and correctly.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the logistics department.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
