We are hiring a motivated Distribution Center Associate for our facility in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is fundamental to our entire logistics network, involving a variety of tasks to ensure efficient flow of goods. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping operations. This position requires physical dexterity, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a dedication to accuracy. We emphasize a safe working environment and provide all necessary PPE to our associates, including safety glasses, gloves, and high-visibility vests. Understanding and adhering to all safety protocols is mandatory. Frequent Lifting of packages and materials will be part of your daily tasks. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Assist with other tasks as needed to support logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 60 pounds.
- Comfortable operating warehouse machinery after training.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
- Must wear provided PPE at all times in designated areas.
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to workplace safety.
