Our Las Vegas, Nevada facility is looking for an efficient and accurate Order Picker to join our logistics team. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for navigating our warehouse, locating specified items, and verifying order details to maintain high levels of accuracy and customer satisfaction. A strong commitment to safety and efficiency is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and interpret order pick lists or scan customer orders accurately.
- Locate and retrieve specific items from warehouse shelves and storage areas.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipment, protecting them from damage.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring aisles are clear and inventory is properly stored.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any order discrepancies, damaged items, or safety concerns to your supervisor promptly.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned to support the overall logistics operation.
- Manage tasks that may involve moderate lifting of products, up to 30 pounds.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a warehouse environment, particularly as an order picker, is preferred. Candidates must possess excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy. The ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced setting is important. Physical stamina and the capacity to perform tasks requiring repetitive movement and lifting are necessary.
