We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator for our Fort Worth, Texas location. As a vital member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, staging materials for production or shipping, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. A strong emphasis on safety, adherence to PPE guidelines, and a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics are essential. This is a critical role in maintaining the smooth flow of operations and ensuring product integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight.
- Transport inventory between different storage areas and staging locations.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Ensure materials are stacked securely and stored appropriately.
- Assist with order picking and replenishment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all established safety procedures and mandatory PPE requirements.
- Contribute to efficient logistics operations through timely material handling.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counting.
Qualifications:
- Certified Forklift Operator with demonstrable experience.
- Proven ability to operate various types of forklifts.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs and other physical tasks.
- Strong commitment to safety and correct use of PPE.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Must be able to work assigned shifts.
