Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and retrieve items from warehouse inventory according to customer orders.
- Inspect items for accuracy and condition before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment and prepare them for carrier pickup.
- Assist with receiving, put-away, and inventory management tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all warehouse protocols.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and responsibly.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Contribute to team goals and overall logistics efficiency through proactive engagement.
- Perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including consistent lifting and movement of goods.
- Execute safe lifting techniques consistently to prevent injuries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or logistics role is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including potential overtime.
