Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Put away received goods into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick orders accurately based on customer requirements.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock management.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of logistics operations through teamwork and proactive engagement.
- Perform tasks involving significant lifting and material handling throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety practices.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Understanding and adherence to safety regulations and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
